Payment Options
If your surgery is reconstructive or deemed medically necessary, it may be covered by insurance. When surgery is recommended by Dr. Wetherington, a letter of prior authorization will be sent to your insurance company, and approval must be obtained before surgery can be scheduled. A copy of your insurance card will be made at your initial office visit, and it is important to keep the office informed of any changes to your insurance.
A patient considering cosmetic surgery will meet with a staff member during her/his initial consultation and discuss both the cost of surgery and scheduling. Cosmetic consultations are complimentary.
Any co-payments are due at the time of your initial office visit, and all surgical fees and deductibles are collected at your preoperative visit, which is usually one week prior to your surgery. Care Credit patient financing is available, and information about this service is available in our offices. We also accept cash, personal checks, Visa and American Express.
